Washington State Aussies are Located in Toledo where we have raised the breed for many years under the well known name of Smokey Valley Kennel. We mostly raise Miniature Australian but do sometimes also have some in the smaller Toy size.
Miniature Aussie are the perfect Washington State type of Dog. They are well suited to the active Family that wants to go Walking, Jogging, Camping, Hiking and so much more in the lifestyle that Washington Families have in this wonderful lush State.
The Mini Australian Shepherds are also easily adapted to City or Suburban Homes which we have a lot of in Wa State. they love City Walks, Dog Parks, Jogging and meeting new People daily. With a Suburban Family Outings like Kids Baseball or Soccer Games and any Family Activities are a welcome pro-suit.
Mini Aussie are well known for their abilities to do excellent in Obedience Activities and Herding as well as Fly Ball and Frisbee, excelling in all they do as they are one of the smartest breeds of Dog no matter the size.
Our pups are born and raised on our small Family Farm around our other Miniature Animals, the Miniature Zebu Cows and our Show Poultry of Silkies and Modern Game in several colors and a few standard Malay Chickens. Where the grand kids love to play with them as does anyone lucky enough to come when we have a litter. Mini Aussie come in MANY colors but the four basic colors are as follows… Black Tri where the Dogs are all black with the typical tan/orange Eyebrow markings, Red Tri the same but with a red/brown Body. The most popular color is the Blue Merle the blue/gray marbled mixed colors, and Red Merle’s with the same pattern but in red in place of the blue. Both Merle colors have the typical tri tan/orange markings and all colors can have the flashy white some more some less.
